P.I.: guys, pls start inviting alumni for our homecoming. free up your holy week for this. our primary objective would be to minister to the alumni, rest and fellowship, celebrate God's stories in our lives and celebrate the gifts God gave us by ministering to a community.

Minutes of the Meeting Held January 13, 2008 II

I thought I'd post here the notes that I took during the meeting without the edits. So they're just notes.
The first post of the meeting is the organized version. This was the draft.

Notes from CCC Alumni Meeting

Date: January 14, 2008

Attendance: PI, Michelle (Kuya Smile's GF), Smile, Aboy, Dred, Eleonor

“You don't have to be sick.”

“Halleluia Acres”

Update from last meeting (Shelby's wedding)

Time frame

“Gusto ba nating mag OJ na alumni ang mag lead?” - Yes

Best Option: Medical Mission (c/o Nesti, etc.)

Dred: Repro health

• Madali lang gawin: kahit 2 linggo

Dred: Someone should be assigned to collect medicines

Aboy: Meron ba sa atin pwedeng mag commit to do [collection of medicines]

PI: Meron akong kakilala na pwede

Decision: Agreed [Medical Mission]

Tasks:

1. Identify doctors

2. Identify community areas: c/o PI – probably Pangasinan

• Deadline: Within this week

• PI: Ano ang kayang ibigay [ng mga alumni], yun ang ima-match natin [sa community]

  • Pero note: ang gusto nating i-gather, alumni, hindi estudyante

• Aboy: “Sana we talk about the gospel”

  • Addresses one objective (Dred) and meets objective to minister to alumni.

  • Activities will include: Devotion and other processing activities

Schedule

Pre-event: leveling off

First day: Tayo lang muna

Ilang araw?

Suggested: Leadership Training

Day 1 and 2:

• Gather

• Level off

• Prepare

*Allow option for other people to “go home” or “go ahead”

Day 3 and 4:

• Medical Mission, Trainings, etc

Day 5:

Post activity processing

“Alpha” -> “Omega”

Daily:

AM: Quiet time, gather, fellowship

PM: “Action”, Reflection (processing)

March 17-21: 5 days

Question: Free kaya yung community?

Response: Kung sino lang ang nandoon.

“Services”: Ask from people we already know

“What will make us convince people to come?”

“We don't want to make decisions now.”

Agreements:

• OJ + Rest

• Agreed to lead (Alumni)

• Multipliers who can raise support

• Medical mission plus

  • Ate PI will identify community

• Holy week, 9 weeks from now, 5 days

  • Daily schedule as described previously
